German Schlager singer Heino is auctioning approximately 1,200 personal items and memorabilia in Klagenfurt, Austria. The collection includes items from his life and those of his late wife, Hannelore, who died in November 2023. Notable items for auction include a Bentley, a BMW Z4 convertible, 30 kilograms of gold and silver jewelry, musical instruments, and a custom-made Venetian wedding bed. Other significant pieces include an oil painting once owned by Archduke Franz Ferdinand, a mammoth bone, and the leather boots worn by Heino during a 2013 New Year’s Eve performance at the Brandenburg Gate. Recent details confirm the items have been transported to an auction house in Klagenfurt for cataloging and valuation. The online auction is scheduled to take place from November 18 to November 20. Heino noted that he chose to auction the items so they could be “enjoyed by others rather than gathering dust.” Reports indicate that Heino has designated his manager, Helmut Werner, as his heir, noting that Werner and his family have become like family to him.
