Following the late August 2026 developments in high-performance projector technology, the IFA trade show in Berlin served as a major platform for new hardware unveilings. XGIMI expanded its lineup with the TITAN Noir series, a collection of four 4K-DLP models utilizing RGB triple-laser technology and a ‘Dual Intelligent Iris System’ to manage contrast. The flagship Noir Ultra Max is intended for high-end home cinemas and professional installations. Additionally, XGIMI showcased its Aura 3 Series, featuring the Aura 3 Max and Aura 3 Pro. These ultra-short-throw (UST) projectors are marketed as the ‘world’s first 4K 120Hz capability’ for UST devices, supporting gaming features like VRR and ALLM. Sales for the Aura 3 series are scheduled to begin on October 20 via Kickstarter in the United States, with shipping expected in December 2026. JMGO officially launched its IRIS Ultra Max in the United States and Europe. The company claims the device is the world’s first projector to combine true 4K resolution with a 120Hz refresh rate through a purpose-built hardware architecture, distinguishing it from models that merely accept 4K/120Hz signals but downconvert them for playback. Aurzen also introduced the ZIP Pro, a portable, tri-fold Full HD pocket projector capable of an 80-inch display. In the Japanese market, XGIMI announced the HORIZON 30 series, including the Ultra Max and Pro models.
