Hokkaido Consadole Sapporo and the HTB program ‘Suiyo Dodesho’ engaged in a series of collaborative events to mark their respective 30th anniversaries. In early September, the ‘Suiyo Dodesho Festival UNITE 2026’ was held at the Daiwa House Premist Dome in Sapporo. The event featured a world premiere of a new production and a notable appearance by actor Yo Oizumi. During this festival, the two entities announced a formal collaboration to celebrate their milestones. Following this, the club held further anniversary activities, including a ‘Hokkaido Consadole Sapporo DAY’ at Mombetsu Racecourse featuring merchandise lotteries and talks with former player Junki Yokono. Additionally, a special talk show titled ‘Let’s Talk Honestly’ was hosted at the Daiwa House Premist Dome, featuring former player Shinji Ono and Takayuki Suzui from ‘Suiyo Dodesho’. As part of the ongoing celebrations, the club launched the ‘Red & Black Canvas’ initiative. This included the unveiling of a 350-square-meter mural titled ‘Rising Guardian’ at the entrance of the Daiwa House Premist Dome. The artwork, which depicts the club’s mascot owl, Dore-kun, was revealed during a J2 League match against Oita Trinita on September 19. While festivities continue, the team recently recorded a 1-1 draw against Oita Trinita, extending a six-match winless streak.
