Overview

A commemorative event is scheduled to take place in Thessaloniki on October 27, 2026, to mark the tenth anniversary of the opening of the Holy Sepulchre in the Church of the Resurrection in Jerusalem. Expected participants and speakers include the Metropolitan of Thessaloniki, the Ministry of Interior of Macedonia-Thrace, and various religious leaders, including video messages from Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew I and greetings from the Archbishop of Athens.
