HONOR has expanded its mobile photography ecosystem with the launch of the Robot Phone and a telescope-inspired camera accessory. The accessory features an elongated lens barrel designed to provide enhanced long-range photography and increased optical reach for subjects such as wildlife and landscapes. The Robot Phone, unveiled in Shenzhen, China, utilizes a motorized three-axis physical gimbal mounted on a titanium arm. Developed in collaboration with ARRI, the device employs ARRI Image Science to manage light, color, and contrast. It also integrates the HONOR H1 Image Chip, which performs AI noise reduction in the 14-bit 4:4:4 RAW domain to provide up to 14 stops of dynamic range. This mechanism allows the camera to rotate 180 degrees to move from the back of the device to the front, functioning as both a high-performance imaging tool and an AI agent assistant capable of automated subject tracking and framing. The gimbal can rotate at speeds up to 360 degrees per second. The camera system includes a 200MP main sensor, a 50MP ultrawide lens, and a 200MP zoom lens. Technically, the device is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor running MagicOS 10 (based on Android 16). It features a 6.31-inch display with 6800 nits peak brightness, a 7060mAh battery with 120W fast charging, and dual 200-megapixel cameras.
