HONOR has expanded the rollout of the HONOR 600S 5G smartphone, following its initial launch in the Philippines to a new market in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. In Vietnam, the device is available nationwide with a starting price of 10,490,000 VND. The smartphone is marketed heavily on its durability and battery longevity. It features an 8,100mAh battery designed to last up to six years, supporting over 21 hours of continuous social media video usage or 15 hours of high-intensity gaming. The battery system utilizes multi-point temperature monitoring to maintain stability in environments ranging from -30°C to 50°C and supports 45W SuperCharge technology. For ruggedness, the device holds IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings and has earned an SGS Premium Performance 5-star certification for drop and impact resistance, capable of surviving drops from up to 2.5 meters. It also includes a ‘Wet-hand Touch’ algorithm to ensure screen responsiveness when the display or user's hands are wet. Technical specifications include a 6.87-inch 120Hz display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 4 processor, and a 50MP main camera. The device also features a dedicated AI button for quick access to smart features and the camera. In the Philippines, the launch was supported by a partnership with Studio Viva to release ‘The CEO’s New Jowa’, a vertical drama reel directed by Joy Aquino to showcase mobile-first viewing capabilities. In the Philippines, HONOR has introduced several promotional offers. During the Shopee Super Brand Day on October 8 and 9, the 6GB + 128GB variant was offered for as low as PHP 15,799, with opportunities to win a PHP 1 million shopping spree at SM Store and free gifts including an HONOR Watch 2i and an HONOR Bluetooth Speaker.
