Horațiu Moldovan performance and transfer links

Overview

Romanian goalkeeper Horațiu Moldovan, currently on loan from Atletico Madrid, has faced significant challenges while playing for Eyüpspor in the Turkish Süper Lig.

In late September, Moldovan conceded five goals in the first half of an 8-0 loss against Fenerbahçe, leading to a halftime substitution by coach Ozhan Pulat. By mid-October, following a period where he conceded 20 goals across seven matches, Moldovan was dropped from the starting lineup by coach Mustafa Dalci. He was replaced by Emre Bilgin for a match against Erzurumspor as Eyüpspor struggled at the bottom of the league standings.

As Eyüpspor continues to struggle at the bottom of the Turkish top flight, Moldovan has been linked to a potential move. Reports indicate that Universitatea Cluj is negotiating for the goalkeeper, who has 16 caps for the Romanian national team and previously played for Rapid and CFR Cluj.
