Hot Toys Avengers: Doomsday collectible releases
Overview
Hot Toys has expanded its lineup of 1/6 scale collectible figures inspired by the upcoming film ‘Avengers: Doomsday’.
Following the initial reveals of a Professor Charles Xavier figure and a Thor collectible, the company has provided further details on the Thor figure. Standing approximately 32 centimeters tall, the figure features a muscular body with seamless silicone arms, a detailed head sculpt with UV-reflective technology, and interchangeable bronze armor discs. Accessories include a damaged Mjölnir and Stormbreaker, both equipped with LED lighting and lightning effects.
The limited edition Victor Von Doom figure remains a key release, restricted to 3,000 pieces worldwide. This version emphasizes the character’s mastery of science and sorcery through a tailored dark green tunic, hooded cloak, and a helmeted head with rolling eyeballs.
Most recently, Hot Toys unveiled a Steve Rogers collectible based on his appearance in the film. Departing from his traditional Captain America uniform, this figure depicts the character in civilian attire, including a charcoal brown jacket, black T-shirt, and olive brown pants. The set features a highly detailed head sculpt with realistic skin textures, seamless silicone arms, and a wedding ring. As a thematic nod, the set includes a cracked version of Thor’s Mjölnir with blue LED lighting. A Special Edition version may be available in select markets, potentially including a life-size metal ring as a commemorative item.
