Mattel has launched a global brand platform for Hot Wheels titled ‘Challenge Accepted’, which introduces the brand’s first ‘Class of Legends’. This group of ambassadors includes singer Maluma, footballer Robert Lewandowski, and automotive content creator Alex Hirschi, also known as Supercar Blondie. To support the campaign, Mattel is releasing the 2026 Global Legends Collection, consisting of three 1:64 scale die-cast vehicles co-designed by the ambassadors. ambassadors to reflect their personal journeys. These models include a Toyota Land Cruiser FJ60, representing Maluma’s Colombian roots; a 1997 Porsche 911 GT1, reflecting Lewandowski’s professional precision; and a Lamborghini Huracán named ‘Lucy’. ‘Lucy’, designed by Supercar Blondie. The initiative also includes a charitable component, with Hot Wheels donating $100,000 to ‘El Arte de los Sueños’, a Colombian non-profit organization founded by Maluma. Digital content showcasing the creative design process is scheduled for release throughout September. Additionally, the brand has provided previews for the 2027 Hot Wheels Boulevard series, featuring new castings such as a Cadillac CTS-V Wagon and a 2003 Ford Focus RS.
