HP has updated its gaming laptop lineup, replacing the budget-focused Victus 15 with the HyperX-branded Omen 15. The new entry-level model features an Intel Core Ultra 7 processor and NVIDIA RTX 5050 graphics, with a starting price of approximately $1,200. Reviews of the HyperX Omen 16 have identified it as a high-performance option for mainstream gamers. HP’s gaming hardware offerings include the OMEN 35L desktop, priced at $1,739.99 and featuring an Intel Core i7 processor with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060. Within the laptop category, the OMEN 16 serves as a portable alternative to the OMEN 17. Specific OMEN 16 configurations feature an AMD Ryzen 9 8940HX processor, an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Laptop GPU with a 115W TGP, 32GB of memory, a 1TB NVMe SSD, and a 16-inch 240Hz WQXGA display with 500 nits peak brightness. Recent retail activity shows various discounts on HP and HyperX products.
