Huis Ten Bosch, a theme park resort in Nagasaki Prefecture, Japan, is introducing several new guest experiences. In August 2026, the resort opened ‘Alice in Borderland ~Immersive Death Game~’, an attraction based on the manga and Netflix series. The experience features high-tension gameplay designed to simulate the survival-suspense atmosphere of the original work. Additionally, the park announced a major renewal of its illumination displays titled ‘The Starlight Million’. Scheduled to ~~launch on~~ run from November 6, 2026, to February 25, 2027, this update marks the first significant change to the park’s lighting in 16 years. The ~~display will feature interactive~~ new theme aims to simulate walking through a twinkling starry sky by blending European streetscapes with celestial motifs. Key features include over 100 touchable star objects in Amsterdam City, a large moon object, and light displays utilizing smoke and water. The 500-meter canal area and surrounding trees will also be illuminated ~~paths, running~~ to simulate falling stars. The display will run alongside the ‘European Holy Christmas’ ~~celebration through~~ celebration, the park’s largest-scale Christmas event, from November 6 to December 25, 2026. This celebration includes the ‘Grand Chandelier Tree’, which features approximately 9,000 crystals, as well as updated displays at the ‘Light Waterfall’ and ‘Aurora Garden’.
