Hulu announced that the second season of the British drama ‘Rivals’ is scheduled to return on November 11, 2026. The upcoming release will consist of six episodes, including a three-episode premiere. The narrative follows the escalating feud between Rupert Campbell-Black and Tony, Lord Baddingham, following the death of Baddingham’s wife, Monica. The series, based on Dame Jilly Cooper’s ‘Rutshire Chronicles’ novels, explores the high-stakes world of British television and the social landscape of the Cotswolds. New promotional material indicates that following the death of Monica in a violent storm, Lord Baddingham is increasingly driven to destroy his rivals and the competing station, Venturer. The season will also feature romantic entanglements involving Taggie O’Hara and Maud O’Hara. While the initial release begins with a premiere, the second half of the season—comprising episodes 7 through 12—is set to debut on November 11. Set in 1987, the plot expands to include a power struggle between Baddingham and Declan O’Hara over a television franchise, alongside social events such as the Hampshire Hunt Ball. The series, starring David Tennant and Aidan Turner, has already been renewed for a third season of twelve episodes and will be available on Disney+.
