Humanitarian appeals have been issued in Bosnia and Herzegovina to assist individuals and families facing severe medical and living challenges. Initial efforts focused on Anastazija Kočić, who requires assistance to adapt her living space for safety and accessibility due to spina bifida, as well as support for ongoing physical therapy and rehabilitation. Subsequent appeals through the association Pomozi.ba expanded the scope of aid to include the Selimbašić family in Kladanj, who require funds to install essential plumbing and electrical installations following a workplace accident, and Sidik Karić in Zenica, who requires additional funding for heart surgery and stent implantation following a tractor accident. Recent efforts include a final fundraising push by the association ‘Mali Anđeo’ for Edin Mahmutović from Ilijaš to fund intensive therapies and medical treatments. Additionally, the Selimbašić family continues to seek 12,193.13 KM to renovate their home and install essential water, sewage, and electrical installations for a functional bathroom following Rešad Selimbašić’s accident involving a fallen tree.
