The humanitarian operation in Alyoshki, located on the left bank of the Dnipro River, has concluded. Russian Human Rights Commissioner Yana Lantratova reported that the mission proceeded without incident. Following the operation, convoys were observed moving through Armiansk, with some groups heading toward Ukrainian territory and others toward the Russian Federation to reach temporary accommodation centers. The mission was conducted under a ceasefire established on October 27, which was scheduled to run until November 1. This truce was mediated by US First Lady Melania Trump to address the humanitarian crisis caused by ongoing conflict, including artillery and drone strikes. Both Lantratova and the Kremlin expressed gratitude to the US First Lady for her role in coordinating these efforts. Prior to the mission’s conclusion, the operation included a delegation of journalists to assess the situation in the Kherson region. Residents of Alyoshki had described a severe crisis involving a lack of food, medicine, water, electricity, and gas. Locals reported that constant drone attacks and the destruction of supply vehicles had previously isolated the city. To facilitate movement, Russian forces reportedly worked to remove mines from roads, while Belarus assisted by facilitating contact between Moscow and Kyiv.
