Hunter Biden's media outreach and political commentary

In a series of interviews with conservative media figures, Hunter Biden has expanded his commentary on domestic and international politics. During an appearance with Tucker Carlson, Biden characterized former President Donald Trump as an “existential threat” to the United States and expressed concern regarding the possibility of Trump seeking a third term.

Biden also directed sharp criticism toward Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, describing him as the “incarnation of evil.” He argued that labeling critics of Netanyahu as antisemitic is a tactic used to silence political opponents. In the same discussion, Biden defended Carlson against accusations of antisemitism, stating, “I know 100% that you are not antisemitic.”

Addressing past controversies, Biden stated he has “zero recollection or memory” of dropping off his laptop at a repair shop during the 2020 incident. He suggested that while various actors—including Russian, Ukrainian, and American elements—were involved in the dissemination of his data following a cloud account hack, he lacks digital forensic evidence directly linking Mossad or official Israeli agencies to the hack itself. He also expressed regret over his former role on the board of the Ukrainian energy company Burisma and criticized the Washington political establishment, specifically referencing an “elite oligarch Epstein class.”

Following the interview, conservative commentator Ben Shapiro criticized the engagement, labeling Carlson and Biden as “silver spoon rich kids” who are posing as outsiders while discussing elite victimization.
