Hyatt loyalty program and credit card promotions

Overview

Hyatt has introduced several loyalty and reward initiatives for World of Hyatt members. Initially, the company extended a promotion for stays at Hyatt Place and Hyatt Select properties in the United States, Canada, the Caribbean, and Latin America. Under this offer, members can earn 3,000 bonus points for every qualifying stay of three or more consecutive nights, with a maximum of 30,000 bonus points available for stays completed between June 1 and September 30, 2026. To qualify, members must be in good standing and register for the promotion before their stay. Subsequently, Hyatt expanded its rewards offerings through the Brand Explorer promotion, which grants a Category 1–4 free night award to members who stay at five different participating Hyatt brands. These bookings must be made directly through Hyatt or a Hyatt hotel, and the award remains valid for 12 months. Furthermore, a new welcome bonus was introduced for the World of Hyatt Credit Card through Chase. New cardmembers can earn up to 75,000 bonus points by spending $15,000, which includes 45,000 points after spending $5,000 within the first three months and an additional 30,000 points by earning two bonus points per $1 spent on up to $15,000 in purchases during the first six months. The card also provides an annual Category 1–4 free night award following the cardmember anniversary. Additionally, a new promotion allows members to earn up to 150,000 bonus points by hosting a wedding or commitment ceremony at participating properties. Using offer code HMOON in contracts through December 31, 2027, members can earn tiered points based on expenditure, ranging from 30,000 points for a $5,000 spend to 150,000 points for a $40,000 spend. Members also receive two Tier Qualifying Night credits for every $5,000 spent in eligible revenue.
