Hyundai Motor Company introduced the Neira electric MPV concept at the 2026 Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show. Show (GIIAS). The initial presentation highlighted a seven‑seat SUV/MPV design that vehicle, built at Hyundai’s Cikarang plant, mirrors the Kia Carens Clavis EV, with distinctive Hyundai EV in overall shape but carries Hyundai’s front and rear styling, LED lighting, lighting and alloy wheels. Production was announced to take place locally at Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Indonesia, with a market launch targeted before the end of 2026. A follow‑up briefing added technical details, revealing two Two battery options—a packs are offered—a 42 kWh pack offering unit delivering up to 404 km and a 51.4 kWh pack delivering unit reaching up to 490 km on a single charge. Both packs can reach km—both capable of 80 % capacity charge in roughly about 39 minutes using on a 100 kW DC fast charger.
