Toyota Professional has also reported significant growth in the European light commercial vehicle market, targeting an 8% market share and 200,000 deliveries by 2030. In Italy, Toyota currently leads the 100% electric commercial vehicle segment with a 27% market share. The company also announced plans to debut a hydrogen fuel cell version of the Hilux pickup in 2028, which is expected to provide a range exceeding 400 km. Following the event, final reports indicate that IAA Transportation achieved record international participation with 1,589 exhibitors from 46 countries. The fair attracted over 140,000 total visitors, with international attendees accounting for 40 percent of trade visitors.
