Ianis Hagi performance at Alanyaspor

Romanian international Ianis Hagi has experienced varying levels of playing time and impact during his tenure with Alanyaspor in the Turkish championship.

On October 10, Hagi returned to club action as a substitute in a scoreless draw against Erzurumspor. Although he maintained a 94% pass completion rate during his 30 minutes on the pitch, his performance rating of 6.5 was noted as being below his team’s average. Former national team coach Victor Pițurcă observed that while Hagi has found success with the Romanian national team, he has struggled to establish consistency at his recent clubs.

By October 22, Hagi started in a Super Lig match against Kocaelispor but was substituted at halftime. Alanyaspor ultimately lost the match 1-2. Despite a performance rating of 6.9, his early removal from the pitch prompted discussions regarding his form. While analysts have addressed speculation about a potential return to the Romanian league, some have dismissed the possibility due to his role as national team captain.
