Ici tout commence cast violence

Entities: Ici tout commence · Catherine Davydzenka · Stéphane Blancafort · TF1 · Lou Ladegaillerie

Overview

On 17 July 2026 a violent altercation on the set of TF1’s daytime series "Ici tout commence" in Saint‑Laurent‑d’Aigouze left actress Catherine Davydzenka hospitalized and led to the arrest of co‑star Stéphane Blancafort on suspicion of domestic‑violence offences. TF1 immediately removed Blancafort from the programme, suspended filming and announced a zero‑tolerance policy.

On 22 July the network confirmed Blancafort’s suspension pending investigation, noting his lawyers claim the act was self‑defence while Davydzenka’s counsel rejects that assertion and describes the incident as a serious, repeated assault. The matter was referred to French judicial authorities. Other cast members also came forward: actress Alexandra Favalli lodged a harassment complaint, and actor Oscar Al Hafiane was removed from the series after separate sexual‑violence allegations.

By 26 July the show announced a reshuffle of the cast, bringing back former actors Lou Ladegaillerie (Victorine Rochemont) and Nicolas Anselmo as part of an effort to stabilise production. Davydzenka has spoken publicly about the episode, while both parties’ legal representatives continue to issue conflicting statements. The investigation remains ongoing and TF1 says it will resume production once additional staff‑protection measures are in place.
