The Instituto Federal de São Paulo (IFSP) has expanded its academic offerings through new undergraduate and postgraduate initiatives. In early August, the institution launched inaugural classes for two higher education programs via the Universidade Aberta do Brasil (UAB) system, supported by Capes funding. These programs include Technology in Systems Analysis and Development at the Campinas Campus and Technology in Computer Networks at the Salto Campus, both utilizing distance education frameworks. Following these launches, IFSP announced a selection process for a free, in-person postgraduate specialization in Project Management at the Campus São Paulo Pirituba. Scheduled to begin in the first semester of 2027, the 435-hour program offers 40 vacancies, including reserved spots for Black, Indigenous, or Quilombola candidates and persons with disabilities. This specialization is available to graduates of any field.
