The India U20 men’s football team, referred to as the ‘Blue Colts’, has been conducting a series of closed-door friendly matches in Bengaluru to prepare for the AFC U20 Asian Cup China 2027 qualifiers. Following two victories against Singapore on August 3 and August 6, the team is was scheduled to play two additional friendly matches against Yemen on August 20 and August ~~23.~~ 23 at the Centre for Sports Excellence. Following these matches, the squad is set to travel to Tashkent, Uzbekistan, on August 26 to acclimatize before their qualification campaign begins on August 31 against Syria. The tournament schedule also includes matches against Uzbekistan on September 3 and Bangladesh on September 6.
