The recruitment drive that began in early June with apprenticeship extensions at the State Bank of India and Bank of Baroda has broadened significantly. A week later Maharashtra State Co‑operative Bank opened an offline recruitment for 26 IT specialist officer posts, while Bank of Baroda added an online drive for five senior IT roles on a fixed‑term basis. By the end of June, Bank of Baroda announced contract posts in IT and corporate credit, and Bank of India released 779 credit officer vacancies. On 28 June July the Baroda notice detailed five senior‑level IT positions and 65 credit posts, including Vice President and Deputy Vice President roles, with applications running through early July. Bank of India’s credit‑officer recruitment opened on 30 June, specifying salary ranges of ₹64,820‑₹1,20,940 and an application fee of ₹850 (₹175 for reserved categories). Two days later, the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) issued the Common Recruitment Process (CRP SPL‑XVI) for 2026 Specialist Officer recruitment across 11 public‑sector banks, listing 745 indicative vacancies and an online window from 1 July to 21 July. On 16 July Bank of India broke down its 779 credit officer posts into three scales and clarified salary bands, with applications due by 20 July. On 18 July Bank of Baroda posted the provisional selection list for its 5,000‑person apprenticeship programme. On 24 July the State Bank of India published the provisional final result for its Circle Based Officer (CBO) recruitment, releasing the roll‑number list on its careers portal. The same day IBPS extended the application deadline for its 2026 recruitment drive—offering 6,715 Probationary Officer and Management Trainee posts—from 21 July to 26 July. Candidates must meet standard eligibility criteria and will sit for preliminary exams on 22‑23 August and main exams on 4 October.
