As the Indian national field hockey team prepares for the FIH World Cup, attention has focused on captain Harmanpreet Singh and the squad’s internal dynamics.

Former player Jugraj Singh identified Harmanpreet as India’s ‘trump card’ due to his aggressive playing style and status as one of the top three drag-flickers globally. While noting Harmanpreet’s improved fitness and individual talent, Jugraj maintained that tournament success would require collective teamwork and coordination.
