Toyota also secured multiple recognitions, with the Toyota Veloz Hybrid EV being named ‘Car of the Year 2026’. Additionally, Kalla Toyota’s CEO, Robby Wijaya, was named the ‘Sulawesi Selatan Industry Marketing Champion 2026’ at the Makassar Marketing Festival. Following the awards season, PT Suzuki Indomobil Sales (SIS) commenced distribution of the new Suzuki XL7 in Indonesia. This follows a market reception where the vehicle recorded over 1,300 purchase orders within 16 days of its launch at the Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) 2026. Approximately 70 percent of these orders were for hybrid variants, which utilize the Smart Hybrid Vehicle by Suzuki (SHVS) system. The XL7 is offered in three versions: New Alpha Hybrid, New Beta Hybrid, and New Zeta, with Jakarta pricing ranging from Rp274.3 million to Rp327.7 million. A symbolic handover ceremony was conducted in Jakarta for 26 customers from the Jabodetabek area.
