IBL All Indonesian 2026 tournament and roster updates

The Indonesian Basketball League (IBL) announced the group drawings for the All Indonesian 2026 tournament, scheduled to take place from October 24 to November 1 at the GOR Laga Tangkas in Bogor. The competition features 10 teams following the decision by Tangerang Hawks Basketball not to participate. Group A includes Pacific Caesar Surabaya, RANS Simba Bogor, Bogor Hornbills, and Satria Muda Pertamina Bandung, while Group B features Dewa United Banten, Satya Wacana Salatiga, Hangtuah Jakarta, and Kesatria Bengawan Solo. Previous finalists Satria Muda Pertamina Bandung and Dewa United Banten were placed in separate groups.

The tournament officially commenced on October 24. In early matchups, Satria Muda Pertamina Bandung defeated Bogor Hornbills 74-64, led by Dame Diagne’s 19 points. Bogor Hornbills later secured a 73-47 victory against Rajawali Medan, driven by 14 points from David Liberty Nuban.

As the competition progresses, clubs are utilizing the event as a testing ground for roster restructuring ahead of the 2027 season. The tournament features significant turnover, including 38 player transfers and 23 rookies. IBL Managing Director Junas Miradiarsyah noted the event is designed to provide a platform for local talent development and to allow clubs to evaluate new player combinations, such as Bogor Hornbills' recent acquisition of Patrick Nikolas. Other notable roster movements include Satria Muda Pertamina Bandung recruiting talent from Tangerang Hawks Basketball and Satya Wacana Salatiga, and RANS Simba Bogor recruiting from Bogor Hornbills and Hangtuah Jakarta.
