Indonesian music festivals have announced lineups and pre-events for 2026. Pestapora 2026 is scheduled for September 25–27 at Gambir Expo & Hall D2 JIExpo in Jakarta, featuring more than 330 musicians across genres such as rock, pop, and indie. Director Kiki Aulia Ucup described the festival as a space connecting “music, community, and creativity,” incorporating non-musical entertainment like podcasts and stand-up comedy. In collaboration with BRI, the festival supports local MSMEs through programs such as 20% cashback for transactions via QRIS BRImo. During the event, the brand BINTANG is hosting two distinct areas for the fourth consecutive year: BINTANG BarSinar, which features karaoke and musical collaborations with acts like Oom Leo Berkaraoke, Andy/RIF, Namoy Budaya, and Feel Koplo; and BINTANG Crystal BarSantai, which offers a relaxed atmosphere with photobooths and DIY craft stations. As the festival commenced on September 25, opening highlights included a duet between Mahalini and Raisa, a performance by Juicy Luicy, and a stage appearance by Inul Daratista with her husband Adam Suseno. Other notable acts included Barasuara, Rhoma Irama and the Soneta Group, and a marriage proposal by the band Lomba Sihir. The Teenage Death Star presented a jazz-oriented ‘Teenage Jazz Star’ project with Teddy Adhitya, Natasya Elvira, and Oslo Ibrahim. The final day of the festival is set to feature Tulus, Syahrini, and Dewa 19. Additionally, The Papandayan Jazz Fest (TPJF) 2026 will hold a pre-event titled TP Jazz Universe at the Mason Grand Ballroom in Kota Baru Parahyangan. Curated by Dwiki Dharmawan under the theme ‘Greatest Movies Soundtrack’, the event will feature Dira Sugandi, Dirly Dave, Rimar Calista, and Sandy Sondoro. The 11th annual TPJF is scheduled for October 3–4, 2026, at The Papandayan Hotel in Bandung.
