Indonesian police forces (Polri) have implemented various community-oriented programs and humanitarian initiatives across the country. These efforts include ‘Subuh Keliling’ (dawn patrols) and ‘Jumat Keliling’ (Friday patrols) to engage in direct dialogue with citizens and resolve social issues through discussion. Specific regional activities include providing free medical services in West Java and utilizing patrols to foster humanistic approaches in West Sulawesi. Additionally, Korlantas Polri organized a ‘Jumat Sedekah’ program to distribute basic food supplies to scavengers in South Jakarta, as well as providing water tanks to residents facing drought in Purwakarta and conducting activities in Bogor. Other social welfare efforts include facility cleanups by local police stations and the distribution of food and supplies by various groups to underprivileged citizens and street vendors in Medan. Recent activities have expanded these religious-based outreach programs to strengthen ties and maintain public order (Kamtibmas). In Banten, police leadership urged residents to remain vigilant against hoaxes, drugs, and online gambling during Friday prayers in Serang. In West Java, the Kapolda led gatherings in Bandung to promote humanist policing, while in East Java, the Kapolda held dawn prayer sessions in Surabaya to emphasize professional service and narcotics combatting. In Gorontalo, officials visited an Islamic boarding school to encourage student discipline and the use of the 110 emergency call center. Additionally, the Biddokkes Polda Jabar provided free medical services to 153 people at the Al-Jabbar Grand Mosque, and the Mauk Police Station conducted facility cleanups to improve service quality.
