The global mobility platform inDrive has focused on technological safety enhancements and international market expansion. To further improve the user experience in Egypt, the platform has launched new features to increase transparency regarding pricing and wait times. This includes a color-coded indicator to assist with price negotiations: a green indicator signifies a price is close to the recommended rate, while an orange indicator suggests a lower price may result in fewer offers and longer wait times. The app also now provides explicit notifications if recommended price increases are due to temporary surges in demand. Simultaneously, the company has seen growth in other regions. In Pakistan, inDrive received multiple honors at the Dragons of Pakistan 2026 ceremony, including awards for brand trials, marketing, social media, and creative excellence. In Nigeria, the platform became the leading ride-hailing app by installs, experiencing a 96 per cent surge in downloads as it expands into a broader mobility and delivery ecosystem. Expanding its Nigerian operations, inDrive has introduced a free parcel coverage feature for eligible business users of its Courier service. This initiative provides protection of up to ₦50,000 against loss or damage during transit to mitigate financial risks for small businesses. Additionally, during the GITEX Nigeria 2026 event, inDrive Nigeria Country Manager Timothy Oladimeji called for increased private sector investment in Nigerian technology talent to help bridge the gap between training and industry application.
