Industrial expansion is increasing in Madhya Pradesh through new investments from major corporate groups. In mid-August, Chief Minister Mohan Yadav announced that the Arvind Group would establish three industrial units in Dewas, Betma, and the PM MITRA Park in Dhar to boost employment and tax revenue. Following meetings in Ahmedabad with Arvind Group Executive Director Kulin S Lalbhai and Vice Chairman Punit Lalbhai, it was noted that production at the PM MITRA Park is expected to commence within the next year. The Chief Minister suggested these activities could strengthen economic ties between Madhya Pradesh and Gujarat. Shortly thereafter, the Pratap Group inaugurated two manufacturing facilities in Pithampur with an investment of Rs 850 crore. These units, Corsis Industries and Voltters Technologies, focus on optical fibre production for digital infrastructure and lithium-ion battery manufacturing for energy storage systems.
