Infrastructure investments and urban development in Pontevedra
Infrastructure and maintenance projects are being implemented across the Pontevedra region. Through the Plan +Provincia 2026-2027, which allocates 85 million euros to municipalities with fewer than 50,000 inhabitants, the Pontevedra Provincial Council has approved funding for road improvements in Gondomar and Salceda de Caselas. These works include paving roads Gondomar will receive 80,000 euros to pave a road in Santa Lucía Lucía, Vincios, involving surface renewal and improving the installation of double gutters. Salceda de Caselas has been allocated 160,000 euros to improve eleven municipal roads across various parishes. Additionally, environmental efforts are underway to renaturalize the Dos Gafos river through wastewater sanitation and the construction of pedestrian walkways.
