International cycling races have taken place in various regions of Turkey. The 3rd International Kahramanmaraş Bicycle Race concluded after three stages, including a 145 km final stage described as the longest and toughest of the event. The race featured 175 cyclists from 31 countries, with Dusan Rajovic winning the final stage. Local officials noted the event's importance for city promotion and its symbolic value following the 2023 earthquakes. Following this, the Ordu Black Sea Classic, the second stage of the Tour of Ordu, concluded in Ordu. This race included 119 athletes from 29 countries. Abner Santiago Umba Lopez of the Solution Tech Nippo Rali Team secured first place on a course that traveled through coastal routes and finished at an altitude of 1500 meters at Karga Tepesi. Santiago Umba, riding for the Solution Tech NIPPO Rali team, completed the race with a time of 3 hours, 16 minutes, and 47 seconds, finishing seven seconds ahead of Eritrea's Awet Aman from the Istanbul Team. Kyrylo Tsarenko, also of the Solution Tech NIPPO Rali team, took third place. The course started from Altınordu and passed through the coastal roads of Fatsa, Çatalpınar, and Kabataş before ascending to the Perşembe Plateau, concluding with a final stretch at Karga Tepesi featuring an average gradient of 5.3%.
