International feline competitions in Romania

Overview

Bucharest hosted an international feline competition organized by Felis România, featuring over 200 cats from various countries. The event, which awards the ‘Feline Oscar’ trophy, aims to treat participating animals as ‘true stars of the feline world’ through a gala-style atmosphere.

In the autumn edition of the SofistiCAT Feline Oscar, organized under the International Feline Federation (FIFe), several winners were announced. TV presenter Dan Cruceru received the ‘Best of Best 1’ award for his British Longhair. Other top placements included a Maine Coon from Romania in second place and a Russian Blue from Greece in third place.
