The 2026 International Drama Camp, part of the 18th European Drama Encounters (EDERED), ~~launched~~ concluded in İzmir after a 10-day program at the Özdere 100th Youth and Sports ~~Campus in İzmir.~~ Campus. Organized by the İzmir Metropolitan Municipality and the Çağdaş Drama Association, the event ~~brings~~ brought together youth from several European countries, including the United Kingdom, Germany, and Greece, to foster intercultural interaction through creative drama. ~~As the camp progressed, it was noted that 31 participants from Turkey, Germany, and Greece were engaging in workshops under~~ Under the theme ‘The Library of the World; The Rest is Yet to be ~~Written.’ The program, which aims~~ Written,’ 31 participants from Turkey, Germany, and Greece engaged in workshops and social activities designed to ~~build international friendships~~ transform personal narratives and ~~expand~~ diverse life experiences into a collective story. The program featured cultural ~~horizons, is scheduled to conclude on August 17, with~~ excursions and culminated in a final performance ~~planned for August 16~~ at the Ahmed Adnan Saygun Art ~~Center.~~ Center, which was attended by local officials such as İzmir Metropolitan Municipality Deputy Secretary General Prof. Dr. Pınar Okyay.
