iPhone protective case market expands

Overview

Following the initial announcement by araree regarding the pre-order launch of the ‘DUPLE M ARMOR’ shockproof case for iPhone 18 Pro, which features a polycarbonate and TPU hybrid design, other manufacturers have introduced premium alternatives.

PITAKA released the Edge Ultra slim case made from aramid fiber, incorporating ‘PitaTap’ technology for Camera Control Button responsiveness. This model is under 1 mm thick and utilizes Mammoth Resin to increase impact resistance while maintaining MagSafe compatibility. Concurrently, Luriax introduced ‘The Signature’ and ‘The Modern’ models, which utilize Italian-engineered Alcantara and are designed to be water, stain, and heat resistant. ‘The Signature’ provides an edge-to-edge suede-like wrap, while ‘The Modern’ features a 2.5mm raised black aluminum camera frame.

Urban Armor Gear (UAG) has expanded the market with a new line of protective cases for the iPhone 18 Pro series. This collection includes the multi-layered Monarch Pro, featuring carbon fiber or Kevlar; the transparent Plyo; and the Plasma XTE 360, which includes a built-in magnetic kickstand. These cases meet MIL-STD 810G military drop protection standards and feature reinforced MagSafe magnets.
