iRobot has ~~introduced new~~ expanded its flagship robot vacuum lineup with new models featuring advanced AI navigation and automated maintenance systems. The Roomba Max 775 Combo utilizes LiDAR ClearView Pro and PrecisionVision AI to map environments and avoid obstacles such as pet waste, toys, and strings. It includes an AutoWash station and is designed with a slim profile to navigate under furniture. Following this, the Roomba Plus 675 Combo was launched, introducing a two-step roller mopping system. This model uses SprayForce AI to pre-treat stains with high-pressure spray before using a self-cleaning PowerSpin roller mop. The unit is supported by an AutoWash Dock that performs hot-water washing and heated-air drying, offering up to 90 days of hands-free debris emptying. The 675 Combo also features SealForce Vacuuming technology for deep carpet cleaning and a dual anti-tangle system. At IFA 2026 in Berlin, iRobot unveiled the Roomba Max 875 Combo, its most advanced model to date. This high-end device features SealForce technology, which uses a chassis-deployed skirt to create a hermetic seal against carpet fibers to maximize its 35,000 Pa suction power. It includes a dual brush system with internal hair-cutting blades and a PowerSpin Max rotating roller that operates at 300 rpm with 18 newtons of downward pressure. For mopping, the 875 Combo introduces the ThermaMist system, which applies a fine spray of hot steam to soften dried stains.
