The conscription crisis has now become a central and volatile factor in the upcoming Israeli legislative elections scheduled for October 27, following the failure of a bill regarding Haredi military exemptions. This political instability contributed to the dissolution of the current Parliament. Prime Minister Netanyahu faces a difficult balancing act, attempting to appeal to right-wing voters concerned about service inequalities while maintaining ties with religious parties.
