Italy is hosting various musical performances and cultural events throughout October 2026. In Naples, the Associazione Alessandro Scarlatti is inaugurating its season with a concert featuring the Orchestra dell’Accademia Teatro alla Scala. Additionally, the SEMI26 event, organized by Cultura Italiae, is scheduled for October 23 to 25 in Naples to celebrate its tenth anniversary under the theme “Culture is Democracy”. In the Campania region, the Museo Campano in Capua is hosting the ‘Autunno Musicale’ festival from October 17 to December 6. Organized by the Associazione Anna Jervolino, the series includes 13 appointments such as piano recitals, chamber music, and the ‘Beethoven Project’, featuring performers like Christos Fountos, Olaf John Laneri, Bruno Canino, and Francesco Libetta. Also in Naples, the second edition of the Campania Jazz Med Festival begins on October 23 at the Complesso Monumentale di Santa Maria la Nova. Curated by ‘Suoni nel Mediterraneo’ and promoted by the Municipality of Naples, the festival includes concerts, workshops, and talks. This initiative is part of a 2-million-euro cultural investment plan by the municipal administration intended to establish Naples as an international hub for contemporary jazz. Regional musical activities also include season launches in Perugia by the Amici della Musica di Perugia and the Fondazione Brunello e Federica Cucinelli, as well as piano recitals in Tropea and performances in San Severo. In Rome, the Rai Cultura show “Splendida Cornice” is returning to Rai 3, featuring guests such as Nobel Peace Prize winner Navanethem ‘Navi’ Pillay.
