Italian authorities continue to channel multi-million-euro resources into the restoration of historic sites across various regions. Following previous allocations in Lombardy and Tuscany, new funding has been secured for several additional areas. In Liguria, over €5.8 million has been earmarked for cultural projects, specifically for the recovery of the San Giuliano Abbey in Genoa and the restoration of the Camillo Sivori Theater in Finale Ligure. The Marche region is also set to receive €7.3 million for heritage sites, which includes €2.1 million for Villa Maroni in Porto Sant’Elpidio. In Abruzzo, the previously announced €4.88 million allocation for 2025–2027 remains designated for the Museo Paludi in Celano and the Abbey of San Martino in Valle. Additionally, a €70,000 grant continues to support the digitization and cataloging of sacred images under the porticoes of Bologna. The Italian Ministry of Culture has further expanded its commitment, allocating significant funding through 2025–2027 for the preservation and promotion of cultural heritage and UNESCO sites across several regions to support regional development.
