In Rende, Brutia Disinfestazione Srl, in collaboration with local police, scheduled further interventions from October 6 to October 10, focusing on 10 targeting the historic center and center, industrial sectors, with many operations occurring zones, and university areas, primarily after midnight. In the Marche region, municipalities implemented measures to combat common and tiger mosquitoes during the autumn. In Fano, nighttime disinfestation was scheduled from October 15 to October 18, targeting eight municipal cemeteries and various educational facilities, including nurseries and schools. Vice Mayor and Environmental Councilor Loretta Manocchi noted the goal was to protect public health in areas used by families and children. Meanwhile, Senigallia began a cycle of anti-larval treatments on October 13, applying products to rainwater drains to prevent larvae development, citing that mild weather and standing water allow mosquitoes to thrive until sustained cold arrives.
