Italian Primavera 2 football match results

Overview

The second and third matchdays of the Italian Primavera 2 football league produced a variety of results across the groups.

In Group A, Cremonese maintained a perfect record with a 3-1 victory over Venezia, featuring a hat-trick by Herzuah. Pro Vercelli and Lecco played to a scoreless draw, earning their first points of the season, while Union Brescia defeated Udinese 4-2.

In Group B, Latina secured its first seasonal victory with a 4-1 win over Salernitana, led by a brace from Modugno. Avellino earned its second consecutive win by defeating Cosenza 2-1, and Palermo defeated Spezia 3-1.

Napoli Primavera’s campaign has seen mixed results. Following a 2-3 loss to Catanzaro, Napoli U19 secured their first point of the season via a 2-2 draw against Ascoli U19. That fixture was marked by multiple lead changes and two successful penalty kicks by Argentine players Baridò and Pereyra.

Additionally, Juventus Primavera suffered a 2-1 home defeat against AlbinoLeffe, as Rinaldi secured a comeback for the visitors despite an early goal by Keutgen.

In the fourth round of Group B, Palermo played to a 0-0 draw against Frosinone, bringing their total to eight points. Following the match, Palermo coach Stefano De Angelis expressed regret over the missed opportunity to secure three points, noting that while the team created several offensive chances, they lacked the necessary precision in the final pass and finishing. De Angelis did, however, highlight the technical, tactical, and mental growth shown by his players.
