Regional initiatives across Italy continue to focus on economic development, vocational training, and employment support. In the Marche region, efforts are centered on entrepreneurship and technical education through the ITS Academy system. Expanding on these efforts, the The ‘Fondo Credito Nuove Imprese’, managed by Rti Credito Futuro Marche, has opened its second window for startups. Eligible companies established for no more than 36 months can access unsecured, zero-interest loans between 10,000 and 50,000 euros for up to 72 months. These funds, which include a 12-month grace period, can cover up to 80% of investments in equipment, software, patents, marketing, and personnel. In the Cuneo province, Confcommercio has launched ‘Operazione Bandi’, a strategic project involving nine local entities: Alba, Bra, Cuneo, Savigliano, Saluzzo, Mondovì, Fossano, Ceva, and Carrù. This initiative assists companies in the commerce, tourism, and services sectors in identifying and accessing non-repayable grants, subsidized loans, and other investment tools. New social and artisanal projects have emerged in Tuscany and Sardinia. In Pistoia, a social knitting mill project promoted by Rifò and the Manusa Social Cooperative provides training to unemployed women to preserve skills like mending and reweaving. Meanwhile, in Sassari, a collaboration pact between the municipality and a network of artisans, including the association ‘Tramandando’, aims to revitalize the historic city center by bringing back traditional workshops such as weaving and carpentry. Other regional activities include employment facilitation in Sardinia through training in construction and software analysis, and the promotion of Craftsmanship Development Areas (ASA) in Piedmont, which provides grants of up to 40,000 euros to enhance artisanal business competitiveness.
