Italian regional educational orientation initiatives

Overview

Regional educational orientation events are being held across Italy to assist students and families in selecting academic and professional paths for the 2026/2027 school year.

In Maranello, the Ferrari plant hosted the Provincial School Orientation Fair, involving more than 30 secondary schools from the province of Modena. The event allowed thousands of middle school students to explore educational opportunities within Ferrari’s production lines. This initiative highlighted the synergy between local institutions and businesses to support community development.

Further details indicate that the Maranello event included information regarding the upcoming M-TECH Alfredo Ferrari, a new public training center scheduled to open in 2029 to train future engineers and technicians. Similar orientation efforts are occurring in Lecco through the ‘Orientalamente 2026’ event, which features workshops and meetings with local companies to bridge the gap between training and the labor market.
