The Italian government and regional Chambers of Commerce have introduced funding initiatives to support small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in digital and ecological innovation. The “Voucher Doppia Transizione” programme initially allocated €150 million to help firms adopt technologies such as artificial intelligence, cloud computing, and cybersecurity, with individual grants ranging from €8,000 to €10,000. To qualify, eligible investments must represent a technological improvement over existing systems and may include solutions for cybersecurity, cloud services, management software, productivity tools, and artificial intelligence.
