In early August 2026 several Italian municipalities added complementary aid to the regional programmes already announced in July. The Comune di Sulmona introduced a summer‑centre grant of up to €300 per child, with an extra €100 for pupils covered by Law 104. Siena launched “Buoni Scuola 2026”, granting up to €500 per family for preschool fees, the amount varying with household ISEE. Piombino opened a municipal nursery‑school contribution for families not reached by regional measures. All programmes require applications by early September 2026 and aim to lower family costs and broaden educational opportunities.
