In July 2026 Italian regional swimming championships featured multiple clubs dominating their events. Club Nuoto 91 Parma earned nine individual medals and relay awards in Riccione, while Pinguino Nuoto collected 16 titles in Pescara, confirming its status as the leading Abruzzo team. Libertas Rari Nantes of Perugia entered a record five swimmers for the Italian National Category Championships in Rome (31 July‑8 August), the largest delegation the club has sent to the event. The squad, covering Ragazzi, Juniores, Cadetti and Senior categories, reflects the club’s recent investment in coaching staff and support services.
