The Italian wine industry has demonstrated strength through both regional cultural events and international competitive success. In August 2026, regional festivals were scheduled to promote viticulture and tourism, including the 95th Festa dell'uva e del vino in Bardolino and the 44th Festa del Vino in Castelvenere. The Borgo diVino in tour event in Nemi, running from September 11–13, was set to feature tastings from regions including Lazio, Lombardy, Piedmont, and Sicily, alongside educational panels on viticulture. In Oria, the Uve Primitive 2026 festival was organized to celebrate Puglia’s wine culture through masterclasses, live music, and the Sfilata dei Carri parade. Looking ahead to October 2026, the 95th Festa dell'uva e del vino is scheduled to take place in Bardolino on Lake Garda from October 1 to October 5. The five-day event is expected to attract more than 100,000 visitors. While the specific 2026 program has not been released, previous festivals have featured concerts, food and wine stalls, guided tastings organized by the Consorzio Tutela Vino Classico DOC, and musical parades.
