In July ~~2026,~~ 2026 the Club Nautico Capodimonte ~~hosted~~ staged the third stage of the Optimist Italia ~~"Kinder~~ “Kinder Joy of ~~Moving"~~ Moving” regatta on Lake Bolsena, drawing 221 junior and cadet sailors and ~~emphasizing both~~ stressing competition ~~and educational values.~~ alongside education. National Optimist coach Marcello Meringolo highlighted the strong participation and ~~noted~~ referenced the ~~upcoming~~ forthcoming European Optimist Championship in Gdynia.
