Italy continues to manage various infrastructure developments, ranging from large-scale national projects to regional maintenance and legal scrutiny. In Sicily, the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport has threatened to revoke the highway concession of the Consorzio per le Autostrade Siciliane (CAS) due to management and maintenance failures.
