IVE K-pop group EP release
Overview
K-pop group IVE announced a new EP titled ‘Looks Can Kill’, scheduled for a two-stage release in October 2026. The rollout includes a pre-release track on October 19, followed by the full EP on October 26. The project has been described via teasers as an ‘IVE SPIN-OFF’.
Subsequent details revealed a six-track tracklist featuring the title song ‘Looks Can Kill’, ‘Mirror Mirror’, ‘SNAKESKIN’, ‘CRUMBS’, ‘Girls Girls Girls’, and ‘Glow Motion’. Members Rei, Gaeul, and Liz are involved in the songwriting process. The album utilizes a ‘Girl Hero’ concept and involves various domestic and international collaborators, including Zara Larsson and Gaeko.
On October 18, IVE released the title track and music video for ‘Looks Can Kill’. The song is characterized as an electronic dance-pop track featuring heavy bass, dynamic drums, and rich electronic sounds that build toward an “explosive final chorus”. The accompanying music video employs superhero movie tropes, depicting the members as superstars who transition into heroes through their own existence. The visual concept centers on the group’s influence and their ability to inspire courage and change in others.
